OBC Creamy Layer: SC Rejects Centre's Plea for Prospective Effect
The Supreme Court has refused to apply its March 2026 OBC creamy layer judgment only to future cases, giving the Centre two more months to implement it. The ruling will govern service allocation for Civil Services Examination 2025 candidates.
