Subject-Wise Pass Percentage — TS SSC 2026

One of the most talked-about aspects of any board result is how students performed in individual subjects. In subject-wise pass percentage for TS SSC Result 2026, Telugu recorded 99.12 per cent, Mathematics 97.46 per cent, General Science 98.41 per cent, and Social Studies 99.61 per cent.

Girls vs Boys: Who Performed Better?

Girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 94.26% compared to 91.32% among boys. The 2026 results are expected to continue — and very likely extend — this pattern. 

A total of 5,28,239 students appeared for the exam, including 2,67,954 boys and 2,60,285 girls. The fact that the overall pass percentage jumped from 92.78% to 95.15% suggests that both boys and girls have improved significantly this year. 

5,731 Schools Achieve 100% Pass Rate

Perhaps the most heartening statistic from this year's results is the school-level performance. While 5,731 schools achieved 100% pass percentage, a total of 50% Zila Parishad (ZP) schools achieved 100% results. 

The fact that half of all government-run Zila Parishad schools achieved a perfect 100% pass rate is a remarkable achievement — one that reflects years of investment in government school infrastructure, teacher training, and student support programmes under the Telangana government.

For private candidates, the pass percentage stood at 59.22%. This lower figure is expected, as private candidates typically include students who may be appearing after previously failing or those appearing without regular schooling support.

The improvement in Telangana's SSC results over the years tells a powerful story:

Three straight years of improvement. From 91.31% to 95.15% in just two years — that's nearly 4 percentage points of progress, representing hundreds of thousands of additional students who are now passing their Class 10 board exams and opening doors to higher education.

About the TS SSC 2026 Examination

The Telangana SSC examinations 2026 were conducted from March 14 to April 16, 2026, in a single shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The exams were held across 2,676 centres throughout the state, with approximately 5.28 lakh students appearing for the board examinations, including both regular and private candidates. 

Students need to score a minimum of 35% marks in each subject out of 100 to be declared as pass. The marks scored out of 80 will then be added to the 20 marks of formative assessment. 

The Board introduced several anti-malpractice measures this year, including checking that students answered only the correct and authorised question paper. Students who answered a wrong question paper or wrong combination faced cancellation of results.

What is in the TS SSC Marks Memo 2026?

The marks memo that students can download today is a provisional marksheet. It contains:

• Subject-wise marks scored
• Total marks obtained
• Grade awarded
• Pass / Fail status
• Student's name and hall ticket number

The BSE Telangana marks memo available online today is provisional. Students will receive their original marksheet and certificates from their schools at a later date. Keep the downloaded copy safe in the meantime — it will be accepted for admissions in most schools and colleges until the original arrives.

Didn't get the score you expected? Don't worry — BSE Telangana provides options for students to challenge their results.

BSE Telangana will open the SSC re-verification and recounting 2026 application form after the result declaration. Students can apply at bse.telangana.gov.in. 

The options available are:

• Revaluation — A fresh examiner rechecks your answer sheet
• Recounting — Your total marks are recalculated to check for addition errors
• Re-verification — Your answer sheet is checked to ensure all questions were evaluated

Supplementary Exams: A Second Chance

Students who did not clear one or more subjects in the main examination need not lose hope. These exams are important for students who did not pass in one or more subjects, giving them another opportunity within the same academic year.
