In theatres this Friday

If you would rather head out, two Hindi films open in cinemas on October 23. Udta Teer pairs Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in a comedy drama about a Pakistani officer on a covert mission in India who loses his memory in an accident. Little Thomas, starring Rasika Dugal and Gulshan Devaiah, is set in 1990s Goa and follows a seven-year-old boy who tries to bring his quarrelling parents back together.

What to pick first

For most Indian viewers, the choice comes down to The Paradise and Gajab Raat. Nani's film is the big-screen spectacle of the week and comes with five language options, making it ideal for a family watch. Gajab Raat suits anyone who likes tight, single-night thrillers, while Chaar Yaar is the binge pick for the weekend. Release times vary by platform, so check the app on the day, and remember that some international titles may not be available in every region.
