Centre Makes Weekly Rice, Paddy Stock Disclosure Mandatory
To control rising rice prices, the Centre has ordered traders, retailers and millers to report rice and paddy stocks every Friday, and doubled its OMSS rice sale target to 50 lakh tonnes.
