Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has found a second wind. After a quiet working week, the crime thriller jumped to Rs 26.50 crore net in India on its second Saturday, October 10, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. That takes its nine-day India net to Rs 286.50 crore and its worldwide gross to Rs 446.80 crore. With a strong Sunday, the film is set to cross the Rs 300 crore net mark in India today.
The Saturday number is an 82.8 per cent jump over Friday's Rs 14.50 crore, a clear sign that family audiences are still turning up for Vijay Salgaonkar's final chapter.

A record-breaking run for the franchise
The first week alone brought in Rs 245.50 crore net. That was enough to beat the lifetime India business of Drishyam 2, which ended at around Rs 240 crore net. Drishyam 3 is now the highest-grossing film in the Hindi Drishyam series by a wide margin.
Worldwide, it has also overtaken the lifetime totals of Singham Again and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, putting it among the biggest hits of Ajay Devgn's career as a lead actor. In the 2026 Bollywood list for India, it currently sits fourth, behind Dhurandhar 2, Border 2 and Hanuman Ansh.
Strong evening shows
Occupancy figures show where the Saturday push came from. Night shows were running at about 46 per cent occupancy, well above the daytime average, as families and groups of friends packed late screenings. The film played across roughly 13,000 to 15,000 shows on the day, according to trade reports.
Why the film is still pulling crowds
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3 brings back Ajay Devgn as cable operator Vijay Salgaonkar and Tabu as former IG Meera Deshmukh, along with Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor. Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat join the cast this time.
Billed as the conclusion of the story, the film has benefited from strong word of mouth and the curiosity of audiences who have followed the Salgaonkar family since 2015. It has also had a fairly clear run, with no major Hindi release competing for the same audience over the past week.
How the second weekend compares
The first weekend gave the film Rs 176.50 crore net across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, one of the biggest three-day starts of the year. Weekday business then settled into the mid-teens, which is normal for a big release. What stands out is the Saturday bounce: a film that grows this sharply in its second weekend usually has strong word of mouth behind it, and that often means a longer run in theatres than early estimates suggested.
What it means for Bollywood
A Rs 300 crore net film in its second weekend is a big boost for the Hindi film industry in a festive quarter. It shows that a trusted franchise with good reviews can still draw families to cinemas, even as OTT platforms compete for the same weekend time.
What happens next
Sunday, October 11, should be the film's biggest day of the second weekend and is expected to push it past Rs 300 crore net in India. The real test comes from Monday, when weekday numbers will show how long the run can last. The arrival of Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 on October 15 will also take away some screens, especially in the south, so the next few days are key for the film's final total.
